Unmanned Flying Robot Surveillance
I think we've seen these in Minority Report. The future is coming soon!
I like the concept of them finding the recharging station when they start running low on batteries. But what if the recharging station is not near enough? Someday they'll have to be able to self-repower. Maybe a combination of solar and wind power? What if they folded in their wings and dropped to the ground, but had blades that spun by air-force as they dropped down to recharge them a little?
